International network of Associated Schools of UNESCO, the PEA brings together schools aligned with the principles of the UN agency for Education, Science and Culture
The maintainer of the Cycle International School, Camila Nascimento Siqueira, participated in this Wednesday (12) is Salvador-BA, of the National Meeting PEA-UNESCO Network. During the event, Cycle received certification from the UN specialized agency and joined the select group of schools that are of UNESCO Associated Schools.
The main objective of the PEA certificate is to build an international network of schools that focuses on working to stimulate culture and peace. The program consists of stimulating projects linked to a central theme, proposed by UNESCO and worked annually, known as the International Year by the organization itself.
This certificate guarantees the school, in addition to international recognition, the right to use the logo of the EAP and the International Year in force. Cycle will also receive materials produced by UNESCO itself and will participate in international competitions often launched by UNESCO and several other partner institutions of the UN agency.
Another benefit of the Cycle certificate is being able to participate in the community working with a common goal. This allows for an exchange of information, sharing of projects and ideas with institutions around the world. This work encourages efforts and positively impacts schools with the PEA certificate, thus allowing Cycle to expand its work of culture and peace in all its forms.
This is yet another recognition to Cycle’s entire educational community that daily encourages action with its students to build a better society for future generations!
